The IBTK-Civil Society Youth Advisory Council

 Are you dedicated to amplifying the voices of young people in global decision-making processes? The Civil Society Youth Advisory Committee (CSYAC) is seeking a diverse group of passionate young leaders, aged 25-34. If you are committed to youth empowerment and have experience in advocacy, sustainable development, human rights, or related fields, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact on a global scale.

IBTK Foundation is excited to announce the formation of the Civil Society Youth Advisory Committee (CSYAC), a pioneering platform designed to empower young leaders in shaping the future of civil society organizations aligned with United Nations themes.

The IBTK-CSYAC aims to integrate youth perspectives into civil society initiatives, promoting policies that are youth-centered and aligned with global goals. As a member, you will have the opportunity to:

• Advocate for impactful youth-centered policies.
• Strengthen ties between youth-led organizations and established civil society entities.
• Provide strategic advice to enhance civil society’s alignment with UN goals.
• Foster an environment that encourages youth leadership in decision-making processes.

We are seeking six dynamic young leaders aged 25-34 from diverse geographical and thematic backgrounds who have a passion for advocacy, experience in relevant fields such as sustainable development, human rights, gender equality, and a commitment to youth empowerment. 

As a member of the IBTK-CSYAC, you will:

• Provide feedback on policies, programs, and projects.
• Advocate for youth inclusion and mainstream youth perspectives through youth-centered policies and civil society initiatives.
• Organize consultations, dialogues, and events to engage youth stakeholders. Liaise with UN agencies, governments, and other stakeholders to promote youth participation and partnership opportunities. 

The initial term is three months, with the potential for extension. Members will meet monthly to discuss and review the progress of initiatives.
