Hawa Taylor-Kamara Diallo

President and Executive Director


Hawa Taylor-Kamara Diallo,  former Chief of the Civil Society Unit at the UN, has over 30 years of experience in public outreach and partnerships, focusing on youth and women. She has contributed to UN Peacekeeping and UN-Habitat and holds dual nationality from Sierra Leone and the United States.

Ishmael Byne Taylor-Kamara

Vice President, Public Affairs & Co-Founder


 Ishmael Byne Taylor-Kamara Jr. serves as the Vice President of Public Affairs and Co-Founder of the I.B. Taylor-Kamara Foundation, an organization committed to advancing education, empowering youth, and promoting gender equity in Sierra Leone. He continues his late father's legacy by supporting initiatives that strengthen human capacity and promote social progress in the country.

Director


Lois Sarah Taylor-Kamara, founder of The IBTK Foundation, is known for her work with women's initiatives in Sierra Leone, aiding war orphans and young mothers in rural areas. She has also been a key advocate for women's rights in post-conflict areas, influencing global policy on sexual violence in conflict.

Dr. Bowa George Tucker

Director


Dr. Bowa George Tucker is a Senior Analyst at the U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement, focusing on refugee support and program evaluation. He has also taught political science and education at Merrimack College and UMass Lowell.

Cairo Eubanks

Director


Cairo Eubanks, Founder of Bringing the Globe, is a globally recognized Keynote Speaker and UN Civil Society Youth Representative. She bridges civil society with intergovernmental organizations and chairs the UN DGC Youth Representatives Steering Committee.

Dr. Andrise Bass

Director


Dr. Andrise Bass is a Global Peace Ambassador with 29 years of experience empowering youth through policy and diplomacy training. As President of the Humanitarian Focus Foundation, she mentors worldwide, advocating for education, human rights, and peace-building.

Francis Koroma

Director


Francis Koroma is a Sierra Leonean leader and global changemaker, best known as the founder and president of the Francis Koroma Foundation. Recognized with the African Pacesetter for Development Award (2022) and the 25 Under 25 Global Legacy Award (2023), he also serves as Youth Ambassador for Sierra Leone’s UN Mission and the Secretary General of the Organization of African Youth. A seasoned advocate, Francis speaks at major UN platforms—including the High Political Forum, ECOSOC Youth Forum, and the General Assembly—championing youth leadership and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Cheik Oumar Diallo

Young Emerging Leader 


Cheik Oumar Diallo is a student at Temple University's Fox School of Business in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As an Emerging Leader with the I.B. Taylor-Kamara Foundation, he leverages his exceptional skills in business strategy and data analysis to drive innovative solutions for sustainable development. His active participation in United Nations conferences on sustainability underscores his commitment to global change, as he contributes to discussions on advancing economic and environmental resilience. 


Cheik’s work highlights the pivotal role emerging leaders play in shaping a sustainable future through strategic thinking and collaborative action.

Alimatu Jalloh

Young Emerging Leader 


Alimatu Jalloh, a dedicated student at the University of Sierra Leone, is pursuing a degree in Information Studies and Knowledge Management at the Faculty of Communication, Media, and Information Studies. As a Young Emerging Leader with the I.B. Taylor-Kamara Foundation, Alimatu leverages her academic expertise and passion for innovation to advance community-centered knowledge systems. Her contributions focus on empowering women and youth through access to information and digital literacy, and she has represented the Foundation in discussions on education and technology at various platforms. 


Alimatu's work exemplifies the transformative power of information management in driving sustainable development and fostering inclusive growth.

Meet The People Powering Change

Director of Strategic Planning and Partnerships (Board & Executive)

 Abdoul Byukusenge is a globally engaged professional whose career bridges multinational corporations and international nonprofits. He currently serves as Director of Strategic Planning and Partnerships (Board & Executive) at the I.B. Taylor-Kamara Foundation, where he connects governance and action by shaping long-term strategies, building strong partnerships, and ensuring the Foundation’s programs deliver measurable impact for communities.


In this role, Abdoul works at the intersection of vision and execution: guiding the Board on strategic direction, mobilizing resources through grants and partnerships, and representing the Foundation at high-level international forums. He ensures that IBTK’s initiatives not only respond to urgent needs but also contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals and Africa’s Agenda 2063.


His professional journey spans both corporate and nonprofit sectors. Abdoul has held leadership roles with Amazon, Equinix, GSK, SC Johnson, and Globalization Partners, where he focused on global HR, compliance, sustainability, and organizational transformation. He has also worked with intergovernmental organizations such as the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), contributing to youth-led environmental policies and global advocacy. 


These experiences enable him to bring efficiency, accountability, and innovation into the development space.

Abdoul is also a PhD Candidate in Security Studies at the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, where his research examines the prevention dimension of the Responsibility to Protect (R2P) in the context of African intergovernmental organizations, particularly the African Union and ECOWAS.


His academic background—BA in International Relations, MA in Political Science, and MSc in Sustainable Development underscores his commitment to bridging research, policy, and grassroots action for resilient and empowered communities.

Hawa Kallon, IBTK-Country Representative- Sierra Leone

Hawa Kallon holds a BSc. (Hons) in Nutrition and Dietetics and possesses extensive experience in education, student welfare, and community engagement. 


She has previously served as a Counselor and Student Welfare Officer at Limkokwing University, Sierra Leone, and has taught at Saint Joseph Senior Secondary School. Currently, she is an educator at Sengbeh Pieh Secondary School, where she continues to influence young minds positively.


In her role as Sierra Leone Representative for the I.B. Taylor-Kamara Foundation (IBTK Foundation), Hawa coordinates impactful community outreach programs, advances initiatives focused on youth and women's empowerment, and manages strategic local partnerships. She diligently oversees grassroots activities, ensuring alignment with the Foundation’s mission to uplift communities through education, skills development, and sustainable solutions.


To further enrich her expertise, Hawa has participated in professional workshops and seminars organized by international organizations such as the World Food Programme (WFP) and the World Health Organization (WHO), deepening her understanding of health, nutrition, and community well-being.

Moses Denis Sandy, Project Coordination Specialist

Moses Denis Sandy is an Agricultural Economist and Community Development Specialist dedicated to sustainability and social impact. 


At the I.B. Taylor-Kamara Foundation (IBTK) in Sierra Leone, he leads women’s entrepreneurship and youth-led climate advocacy, empowering communities with the skills and resources needed for economic advancement.


Drawing on experience with We Are the Future (WAF) and YALA Africa, Moses specializes in agricultural sustainability, waste management, and environmental conservation. 


He holds a BSc (Hons) in Agricultural Economics from Njala University and certifications in drip irrigation, waste management, disability-inclusive education, and climate change studies. Fluent in English and Krio, he champions practical solutions for community resilience and long-term change.

Aishwarya Narasimhadevara, Youth Empowerment Specialist

Aishwarya Narasimhadevara is the youth representative at the Centre for Public Health and an advocate for education in international development. She holds a master’s from the University of Kent and is pursuing a PhD. at Chulalongkorn University. Involved in various NGOs, her interests include traveling, photography, and karate.

Christabell Omondi, Start-up Innovation Specialist

Christabell Omondi is a skilled event management professional with a broad range of experience in both domestic and international event planning. She serves as an Event Coordinator at Mindscope Events Planners Services & Supplies in Kenya, focusing on event management, coordination, and food service operations. Previously, Christabell was a Programme Assistant at UN-HABITAT, where she significantly increased youth visibility and participation by facilitating programs, organizing workshops, and representing the organization at international forums

Success Kele Ambrose, Financial

Success Kele Ambrose is a passionate human development facilitator and seasoned financial strategist, serving as the Director of Financial Planning & Impact at the IB Taylor-Kamara Foundation. With a strong academic background in Economics and International Finance from Eastern Mediterranean University, complemented by advanced business analytics training at Harvard Business School, he brings both analytical precision and a human-centered approach to development.

Success has held key positions on Wall Street, including Financial Needs Analyst and Insurance Associate, and currently works as a Benefits Consultant at BCI. His leadership extends beyond finance to include youth empowerment and global advocacy, serving as a UN and World Bank Youth Delegate, a Youth Peace Diplomat, and a UNDGC Youth Delegate.

At the IB Taylor-Kamara Foundation, Success combines his financial expertise with his passion for sustainability and human development, ensuring that resources are strategically managed to create lasting community impact.

Victory Frank, Administrative Specialist

Victory Great Frank is the heart and engine behind seamless operations at the I.B. Taylor-Kamara Foundation (IBTK Foundation), serving as Administrative Specialist. With a vibrant blend of experience, passion, and professionalism, Victory is known for transforming everyday tasks into meaningful achievements.


Her journey has taken her through dynamic roles at organizations like Peakthrust Insurance Brokers Ltd and The Stone Church, where her talent for project management, team coordination, and creative problem-solving has consistently delivered results. Victory’s skill set extends beyond administration—she’s a certified TEFL educator and a natural communicator, using both traditional and digital marketing tools to reach and inspire a wide audience.


Victory thrives on new challenges. She adapts quickly, leads with empathy, and brings a personal touch to every project, big or small. Her Diploma in Public Administration from The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Nigeria, and Project Management certification give her a strong foundation, but it’s her energy and vision that truly set her apart.

Junisa Sallu Kallon

Advisor


Junisa Sallu Kallon is the African Tourism Board Ambassador for Sierra Leone and the CEO of Juninnho Investments. At the I.B. Taylor-Kamara Foundation, he is an Advisor on Strategic Partnerships, fostering collaborations with governments, the private sector, and civil society organizations.


As the founder of the Youth Association of Sierra Leone, Junisa is a passionate advocate for youth empowerment and sustainable development. He actively represents Sierra Leone on global platforms, including the World Business Angels Investment Forum and the Commonwealth Entrepreneurs Club, showcasing the country's potential and opportunities.


Junisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, combining his academic expertise with a strong commitment to advancing strategic initiatives and promoting Sierra Leone’s growth on the world stage.

  

Lyzianah Emakoua

Lyzianah Emakoua is a dedicated advocate for marginalized women and girls impacted by climate change and gender-based violence in humanitarian settings. As an Advisor on Gender-Responsive Climate Actions and Women's Empowerment at I.B. Taylor-Kamara Foundation, she is committed to ensuring that gender perspectives are central to sustainable and inclusive solutions.


A highly sought-after speaker, Lyzianah has shared her expertise at prominent platforms, including UN General Assembly events, civil society forums, government discussions, and the High-Level Political Forum. Her advocacy focuses on integrating gender-sensitive approaches into global policies and actions, driving meaningful change in the fight for equality and sustainability.


Her unwavering dedication to empowering women and addressing the unique challenges they face in vulnerable contexts exemplifies her impactful leadership on the global stage.

Mary Forsythe

Advisor


Mary Forsythe is the Co-Founder of Bringing the Globe, an innovative education-technology platform that offers teens leadership development, cultural exchange, and advocacy programs. As the Principal of Forsythe XR Building Company (4XRBC), she leads a talented team of architects and designers committed to delivering exceptional construction projects. Her firm specializes in high-quality permit drawings and design services, including concrete repair, carport/garage conversions, additions, renovations, new construction, and code violation corrections. Mary's meticulous attention to detail and dedication to excellence ensure that every project surpasses industry standards and client expectations.

Dr. Chidubem Daniel Gbujie

Advisor


Chief Dr. Chidubem Daniel Gbujie serves as the Special Adviser on Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Strategic Partnerships at the I.B. Taylor-Kamara Foundation. A distinguished public health and global health consultant, he is based in the United States. Currently, he works as the Senior Clinical Research Associate and Division Lead Clinical Research Coordinator at a Harvard-affiliated tertiary hospital in Boston.


Dr. Gbujie brings extensive experience in environmental advocacy, healthcare access, corporate sustainability, public health education, and climate action. He has led numerous collaborative initiatives with NGOs, youth organizations, and governments, driving impactful programs across Africa, Latin America, and Asia. Appointed by H.E. Chido Mpemba, the African Union Youth Envoy, he represents African youth in the diaspora in the U.S.


An accomplished innovator, Dr. Gbujie is developing two award-winning satellite-based climate solutions, SpaceClime, and set for launch in 2026.


Dr. Gbujie’s contributions have earned him numerous accolades, including the 2024 Diaspora Award from the Nigerian Professional Group, the 2023 President’s Volunteer Service Award, and recognition from U.S. President Joe Biden. His collaborative efforts with global organizations such as UNICEF, the World Bank, and the African Union showcase his commitment to leveraging partnerships to address social and environmental challenges.


Through his work, Dr. Gbujie continues to inspire communities within Africa and beyond, empowering the next generation to develop innovative, localized solutions to Africa’s challenges and global pressing issues.

Rosleny Ubiñas

Advisor

Rosleny joined the United Nations Office of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of the United States in August 2017, where she focuses on empowering youth to drive positive societal change. 


Her role involves collaborating with NGOs and youth advocates on critical issues such as racial equity, women's advancement, and exploring the role of religion in promoting social cohesion.

Rosleny brings extensive experience in adolescent counseling and youth development, having previously worked with academic institutions and non-profit organizations.


She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Africana Studies from Franklin & Marshall College.


Rosleny has actively contributed to significant international conferences, including the 62nd Commission on the Status of Women, where she served on both the Artisan Fair and Reception sub-committees. Additionally, she co-chaired the Social Media Sub-committee for youth during the 67th UN DPI/NGO Conference held in New York.
